A best friend of mine,(The Adventurous Brainiac) Amith, whom you will meet in this blog more often in future, got married recently (10th Dec 2008). Weddings are big stuff that needs a countless number of planning for a numerous amount of work related to the wedding. Among them The Groom’s Ride has some priority over others since we need a ride that can be modified or in more formal terms “Decorated” to look like a Wedding Ride.
Amith decided to choose his own vehicle, A BMW mini which is a really rare vehicle in Sri-Lanka, to play the role on the day. I had the privilege of supporting him to make the decorations. This Mini happens to be the first ever Mini that stepped on the Sri Lankan soil as well.
Choosing the ride is the easiest part, but making it look like the grooms ride is a bit hard as we didn’t have any idea or a clear image about it. Even Google didn’t give us any good results which made this more hard and interesting. So after a whole days work and lots of effort, this is what it looked like in the end.

And Finally , A few moments before the End, comes the Part "Rag" where we decorate the car a Bit more... but not in a good way... :-)
